Be creative! Participate in the Hat and Tailgate contests and compete for prizes. You can meet local celebrity judges Edward Walker and Miss Brookhill and even get your picture in the local paper. Prizes include round trip airline tickets on American Airlines, gift baskets, and certificates from local merchants including Gemini Club, Skybox Grill & Bar, Edible Art, Amedeo's, the Flying Saucer and more!

Decorate your tailgate space as elaborately as possible to compete in the Tailgate Contest. Past winners have included elegant displays, replicas from the sets of TV’s Survivor and Cheers, and even a Mexican fiesta.

Create and decorate a unique steeplechase hat! Prizes are awarded for the most creative, most elegant and most “equestrian” creations. Enter children under 12 in the Kid’s contest.
